Does anyone know where i could put a single lascannon? I was thinking i could put it in a small chosen unit and infiltrate them in the back somewhere.
Oh ho ho, I could think of somewhere.
But in all honesty, it likely wouldn't be worth taking it at all, lascannons are fine on vehicles, but they cost so much on infantry squads.
I'd say your better off not using him.

why do you want a single lascannon. Just take infiltrating chosen with 2-4 melta guns and watch your opponents face and laugh

Wow. When I first read that I misinterpreted it. Bad.
Lascannons are expensive, you can get 2 melta marines for the price of a lascannon marine. You have a better chance of killing a tank with 2 AP1 shots and if one dies you still have another. If your going to infiltrate anyway, you can be 18" away if they see you, 1 move and a shot at max range, if they dont see you even better, you may even get into CC. The extra body will help in CC too.
My problem is that I don't have enough meltas to go around, I bought all my marines before the changes, so I only got plasma guns.
You could just get an obliterator (or two)
75pts, and from memory not pricey in terms of $$.
Be nice to your enemies, it will make them madder!
Lascannons are not a brilliant infantry weapon. Oblits are better for your points cost along with predators.
I dont see meltaguns as a viable like for like subsitute, they are so short ranged in comparison that the role of the unit will change from support to assualt. Every army needs some long range AT power to function effectively.
In larger games sometimes I'll use 8 man squads of Havocs(just to take wounds) with 4 las cannons. Park em in the back and fire away. Fairly effective, but 4 oblits is almost the same price and much more effective.

The 'Lascannon in a Chosen squad' works just fine--an Obliterator is cheaper but also more vulnerable. Chaos Marines in general are more effective when they're moving, however, so infantry heavy weapons will never be a strength of ours. I've experimented with 10 CSMs, a combi-weapon and a heavy bolter to guard my 'home' objective with indifferent results.

Of those, I think putting it in a havoc squad with other high strength weapons (more Lascannons or Missiles, preferably), would be best. They are a static fire-base kind of unit, just sits back in cover and shoots stuff - just what a lascannon is meant to do. Second choice would be a chosen squad, with plasmas to get in close and hit your opponent where it will hurt the most. The lascannon's excellent range will be wasted and you probably won't want to move that squad much (limiting your rapid-fire ability). Last choice would be a basic CSM squad, since those sorts of squads will be constantly on the move and you'd only get a limited number of lascannon shots.
If it's not the case, and you really do just want one lascannon, I'd suggest doing as recoman suggests, take an obliterator.
