So i was wondering what the rules about noxious touch. If anyone could explain it to me thoroughly id appreciate it greatly the text in the codex states this,
the daemon and its weapons are covered in the most lethal toxic substance, instantly infecting any flesh it touches. The daemon's close combat attacks are poisoned, wounding on a 2+, as described in the warhammer 40,000 rulebook.
now i dont have the rulebook on me but the way my friends had me do it was that i just rolled 1 extra die for the noxious touch on top of my other regular attacks
so i had 10 plaguebearers and i rolled 11 die 1 a different color which was for the noxious touch and the other 10 was for the regular attacks is this how its supposed to be? or is there another rule for it.
You guys were doing it incorrectly, one plaguebearer gains the noxious touch ability meaning all his attacks wound on a 2+. Meaning your 10 plaguebearers would get 9 (18 on charge) regular attacks and 1 (2 on charge) noxious touch attacks.
Make a man a fire and keep him warm for a night.
Light a man on fire and you will keep him warm for the rest of his life.
I have another question about noxious touch regarding a somewhat obscure rule.
It says in the rulebook that you may re-roll to wound with poisoned weapons if your strength is higher than the target's toughness. Does this apply for Noxious Touch? Or jsut Posioned Weapons?
Poison is poison yes you get to re-roll with noxcious touch
That buffs PB's a lot in CC vs. MEQ. Thanks for the confirm
PB's nothing. Wounds on 2+ nurgling bases with power weapons are hillarious. (And faster than your other guys!)
Wait, are nurglings poisoned too? I mean normally without Epidemius.
With Epidemius, yes. Without, no. They're just S3.
