heya all ok im putting togther my K. Zerkers and i dont see any parts for a skull champ. I want him to have a power weapon because iv heard that a power fist is no good for a zerker, but i dont see one in there? Should i just use the left over power weapon from my CSM box?
Yes, most people do use the parts from a chaos marine sprue (To be honest, we never use power weapons on normal marines anyway), as the Khorne berzerkers doesn't have parts for a skull champion.
To distinguish him as a skull champion, you can also do things such as make him the only unhelmeted one, give him all those little skull chain thingies you get with the berzerkers, or paint his shoulder pad differently. Its entirely your choice.
I, for one, use possessed running and the posessed 'chainsword mutation' arm from the possessed set, along with an unhelmeted head, to distinguish mine as a champion. It seems to work well, and noone has a problem with it.
As for powerfists, its not that they are no good on berzerkers, S9 on the charge is great against walkers and other vehicles, its just most of us (Myself included) are loathe to waste that I5 on the charge, same reason we don't take them on Lords.

ahhhhhh sry! i forgot i was lookin in here when i wanted to post that.! Ya and i see ur point about the PW for zerkers. Btw rabbit i had already posted it once i think (my own 1000 point army list) but i haveing some mixed feelings i guess you could call it. If you dont mind going back and taking another look. i have two slight worries about it. First is with the zerkers i have im worried i wont have enough shoot'em up troops and second about my heavy support. i was told 2 preds with las-cannon sponsons r good, but would the preds be able to take out thier armor and help with killin troops at ranged as well? idk..im new to the game and just a bit confused i guess. dont really wana spend all that money and then have a army with a tons of flaws i guess.

I actually think that Bezerkers are particular suited to powerfists simply because they get the extra attack, and thus can make the most use of powerfists. Considering the sheers amount of I5 S5 attacks the rest of the boys will get, a few power spoon attacks are inconsequential. Thus, a powerfist isn't a waste of initiative at all.
Also, consider that you're not guaranteed to get the charge, which is the second major reason the initiative argument is flawed.
Another thing to consider is that against many other races' CC specialists they're going to be striking first regardless.
That said, good khorne lists tend to have squads with both power fists and power spoons - as they both have their applications
A skull champ with power weapon charging some loyalist terminators is going to earn you a lot of points
So, my advice is to take both (yes, multiple squads. The more Zerkers the better).

In my opinion there is enough of a meatshield around the guy so he doesn't need the initiative. Instant killing special characters, now that's where crushing your enemy's morale lies! And he becomes so much more flexible..

I say powerfist for the win. It's kind of anoying when a walker charges you and you get stuck in combat against a opponent you (almost) can't deffeat.
really wow , i'v always been told never use a PF for zerkers. hmmm well i will need to drop somthing i reckon to get the extra pts for a PF. well heres what my list is lookin like atm. well if you guys have any advice on how to fix the list up and maybe add that second PF plz feel free.
Daemon Prince w/ wings and MOK-140 pts
CSMx10 w/ IOCG,meltaguns x2,champ w/ powerfist. and they get thier own Rhino. -255 pts
K. Berzerkersx8 w/ Skull champ w/ power weapon, Personal Icon and thier own Rhino - 238 pts

if you're confident enough to roll 4 x 6 to wound against a Wraithlord on the round you've charged it, then go for it. Because if you don't kill it in the initial round you cannot touch it.
Then again, if you know you're just facing Marines with no dreads, or your eldar opponent definitely doesn't have a Wraithlord, then there's some merit in the power spoon.
If you know you're safe, go for it. If you're not sure, then the fist is better all around.

Nice list Shermanator, plus you have at least one fist in there which is good.
Not sure about the lesser daemons, i don't really use them, so I can't comment.
But it looks like you have your bases covered.
Also, i know you probably want to do a khornate army,.. but please remember that sadly, khornate daemon princes are probably the worst at CC, simply because they don't have access to Warptime...

meh well fluff doesnt really matter since im going to create my own war band. So if u have any advice on how to fix my DP for the better by all means, only reason he has MOK is cause it was cheap. As for the L. daemons there really there just to give me more troops, they can be brought in to aid either my two other troops in cc or do what i think they will end up doing which is too sit on objectives. They can also be tarpits as well. Though if you have any adivce on our to fix up this list please by all means.
yeah, DP with MoK isnt worth the points, if your going for a khornate army i would suggest kharne, hes hands down the best khorne lord. other than that, if you want to use a prince, Tzeentch or Slanesh, tzeentch because of warptime, and slannesh because of lash, possibility of a turn 1 charge if you can squeese a LR in there
this is alot of extra points... would be sick in 1k, not many things are going to be able to stop a LR in 1k battle, this is probably suggestion for a further list probably 1.5k list
ive not had much look with daemons, they to be a one shot pop, and if they dont kill anything they will get popped the next turn. 104pts that could be spend on upgrading the DP to something a bit special. and getting an obliterator
