Hey all. Ok i have a quick question. My daemon Prince, which is still in the box, is going to mainy be used as back up support for my 8 'zerkers in there rhino or vise versa. He will have his wings and MOK, reason for MOK is its all i could afford. So for the wings i have a buddy giving me the wings from a old choas dragon of his, ok with his wings and however big the daemon prince ends up being will he be able to hid behind a rhino? to me, even though both my rhino and prince on in boxs, he just seems like he will be too big to get cover.
Well you won't be able to hide him completely behind a Rhino so that he can't be seen at all but he's definitely covered enough to get the 4+ cover save.
Well, keep in mind that his wings DO NOT count for enemy getting LoS to him. As for the body, I think he will be small enough to get a cover save, but not be fully blocked. Let me pull out one of my GW daemon princes and a rhino and get back to you on it.
Edit: Okay, basically, his shoulders, head and backpack show, so unless the enemy model is RIGHT infront of the rhino, they can shoot him. However you could easily claim a 4+ cover save from this. Also, you could be sneaky and build all your rhinos with marines coming out of both hatches, which would probably block the LoS to him to a degree they couldnt shoot him, however beware that you won't make any firends doing that.

Rork: In the dark future of the 41st millennium there is only friendship.
Fenrir: and magic.
Kaiser-: My Little Chaos Marine, Friendship is Heresy?
hmmm, ya i like friends so i wont go that route. Though that brings up another question, since the wings don't count, i am planning on putting the wings were those backpack skull things go, if it looks good. So that would only leave his head and shoulders showing, would that do anything?
Nothing would change: If youre opponent can see a part of the main body of the model, they can shoot it. But you'll still get the 4+ cover save mentioned earlier.
