Been looking through codex trying to fill out my list and came across this:
Bikers with IoN which would be +2 T to their profile and would allow for a fast unit to turbo boost forward and then drop some demons out the following turn to my understanding this would be pretty effective in tying up some unit and give a relatively cheap unit to be dealt with. I know before the current codex units would "demon bomb" but I have not seen the people I know who play chaos talk about in current edition I know the generic demons are not as good but this seems like it would do pretty well.

My upcoming blog in the works:
Only thing is it is a pretty expensive way of delivering lesser daemons that may not do a whole lot (depending on opposition). Then to make the bikes a worthwhile choice instead of a one trick pony they would probably need some upgrades.
You could also use the Icon to deep-strike Terminators (a good idea here would be a Karmoon special)
Currently play: 4000+ of Black Legion
My view on it is icons only get really efficient when you buy the unit in bulk (large numbers). when you start doing that, it starts turning into a very expensive unit, especially with the intent of just "tying up" stuff.
Mind you, i have lots of fun with a ten man chosen squad, with icon of khorne, 2 flamers, 2 meltas and a champion with fist. They outflank and kill things very well.
They've yet to get less than double their points back in any game. (and cost nearly 300 points)
I thought about adding lesser daemons (as i have icons smattered about my army) with the intent of dropping them in so i can score nearby objectives. / create dilemmas / reinforce somewhere when required.
However, they're more kill points, relitavely fragile and unreliable. They're not even that cheap. I decided against, but i intend to at least test them at some point, they've got potential (The horror of having to come in by a icon is scary though)

Thing about the IoN Biker idea is that it still isn't cost-effective against enemy infantry. I find bikes are best used as high-speed tankhunters, and then the free turboboosting save is more useful than the IoN bonus. If you want to theme you list around bikes or daemon summoning then it's useful, but not many players do that. Six bikes and IoN costs as much as a Land Raider, which is more durable yet still gaurantees the charge for the passengers.
Daemon bombing should work well enough. It's just that lesser daemons are ordinary while our other troop choices are the best MEQs to be had in 40k.

Although expensive, that unit would be quite durable against almost all non-speciall weapons (even plasmaguns need 3+). I'm liking the idea though, I would use it to DS some termies in. If the Bikes can take out tanks, the termies can drop down with combi plasmas and blast monstrous creatures and armour 2+ units.
Termies and Bikers together would cause quite some havoc IMHO. And with them as the distraction, the zerkers can just run up on foot or in a rhino =D
I wish you could deepstrike Kharn and get him to assault in the same turn, I'd pay 40+ points for that =(
Be nice to your enemies, it will make them madder!
