I've finaly got my defiler boxes and I was trying to make a bipedal conversion out of it. The only problem I have, is the arms. I was trying to make one gun arm with the battle cannon and reaper cannon attached to it, but I don't realy know how I could make one. And I aslo need to make 3 Dreaghtnought close combat arms. Any ideas here?
I think keeping it proportional is important to making it look good, make sure he's tall enough for the body and arm length. Try using plasticard and look at additional defiler parts on sites like bitzbarn.com.
As for the arms you could easily attach the guns to his forearms and also make them into close combat weapons (such as a large claw for a hand with a wrist mounted auto cannon could look sweet). I think the legs and pelvis area will be the most difficult. Play around with drawing and stuff.
Good luck, I hope it turns out nice! Post pics when you're finished.
I was thinking about the wrist mounted battlecannon and reapercannon. I will post some pics of it when I'm done. At the moment I have finished the legs and the hull on top of it. Now I'm working on how I should make the arms.
