Lord Of Change & Screamers
I’m making an 1500pts all Tzeentch army at the moment and I’ve got two choices regarding my HQ...Now I’ve only got two units that can beat MEQ in combat which is the daemon princes and the LOC has much better stats than the Fateweaver plus I prefer not to spend over 300pts on a single unit, however the Fateweaver has a truckload of abilities and is being strongly suggested.
285pt Lord Of Change with Instrument and Breath Of Chaos plus 3 Screamers.
I’m new to daemons and have had very little contact with them so if you guys could help me here?

Re-rolling saves is huge and he gets all the powers a normal LoC gets at a huge discount. I don't want a LoC in combat, I've got DPs to do the heavy lifting there.

Kairos, The Fateweaver.
My upcoming blog in the works:
LoC is quite the terror on the field, but Fateweaver's more or less better. (The two of them together is just downright scary.)
That said, Fateweaver's better if it's a choice between the two of them because he supports the rest of the army, whereas an LoC is just a giant beatstick.
Edit: Also, looking back at this, I forgot to mention - there's only one reason you take an LoC over a Tzeentch DP. The DP's better at combat (generally), but the LoC has the ability to take We Are Legion. If you're really looking at taking an LoC, you MUST buy this. The ability to multi-target his shooting to different, appropriate targets where it's most effective is critical to its use. It also enables you to shoot at one target and assault another. (Granted, you still have to shoot the target you're assaulting.)
