Ok, I've developed my yet-to-be collected chaos list, and am now faced with the irritting choice of chosing a legion, a chapter, a god and then everything else that makes an army.
Here Is My List (Feel free to make recommandations for it here (2000pt Final Draft, Suggestions Welcome))
155 Prince w/ wings Mos & Lash
200 2x Dreadnaught w/ missile launcher
1060 4x [10 CSM, IoCG, Melta, Plasma, Champ w/ P wep, Rhino w/ havoc]
300 2x [Defiler w/ 2 DCCW]
As you can see, my list is not devoted to one god as such, as the only marked models are the lash princes. I wanted an undivided army, so that I could add cult units at will should I wish to. The undivided theme gives me unlimited options, but I want to do my army "By the book" and have found some legions/factions from the codex that I both like and fit my list:
Dragon Warriors - I think the melta theme fits my list fine, and I could simplify the paint scheme.
Steel Brethren - Like the paint scheme, and seems to go well with a regimented and orderly theme.
The Sanctified - Pure, sounding elite and good at what they do.
Black Legion - Last resort. Little room for creativity as all of the fluff is already written.
I want my army to have an organized and regimented theme, re-adopting the chapter theme from the loyalists. So, I have established that I want an orderly theme, the 4th chapter of its legion (4 is my lucky number ). Now its up to you people to tell me which one of the legions fits my list. Also, please post any fluff inspiration for me... I want to be creative with this army (Unlike my necrons... Boring! They pwn the crap outta you though).
Interestng Idea... I was thinking that If I could edit the paint scheme to show that the steel bretheren were a chapter of the Iron warriors? Heres what I Got:
The Reason I Decided To colour The Right Soulder Pad Trim Dark Red Is because the Steel Bretheren insignia would be covered by the Iron Warrior's, So I just trimmed the pad to show they were part of the Bretheren.
