Hey fellas -- Fateros here. I'll get straight to the point.
Are Aspiring Sorcerers considered Slow and Purposeful along with the rest of the TS squad, or (if the rest of the rubrics in the unit die) can he move his full 6" by himself?
The last codex made it clear that they were NOT SaP, but this one, however, does not. "The Sorcerer Commands" isn't obvious enough a rule for me.
No SnP. (p.37) Move full 6" by himself.
Quick enuff 4 ya?
Yeah, it's confirmed -- the aspiring sorcerer is NOT SaP.
If you take a close look on page 37 on their special rules, where it says slow and purposeful, it specifically says in parenthesis -- "(not sorcerer)"
But where does it say that you can move more then the rate at which the rest of your unit is moving?

I don't have the rulebook with me, so I can't cite it directly, but I do know as a fact that a unit can only ever move as fast as its slowest model.
Therefore, the Aspiring Sorcerer also moves with slow and purposeful UNTIL / UNLESS all of the rubrics in the unit are dead. Then the sorcerer can move his full 6" by himself.
Ahh, this is good news. Mine often ends up alone with Kharn - not rolling SnP will make them a great, unfluffy, duo =D
Be nice to your enemies, it will make them madder!
pg 11 BRB states that "all of the models in a unit move at the speed of the slowest model"
