I've just started building my Deamon army and it's starting to trouble me on how I'm going to transport it?
With fragile models like the Lord Of Change and especially the Screamers I need to know what is the best way to transport these models?
Yes theyre quite difficult to move around saftly. Currently I carry what I need to battles in a shoebox. Loose and when they are done I put them back on thier shelf. My other two armys are packed away in armytrasports, but the daemons have all kinds of spikes and swarords and claws going everywhich way...... Im looking for ideas also.................

For all my big stuff, I have attached rare-earth magnets to the undersides of their bases, or in the case of soul grinders, to the insides of their claws/feet right near the bottom.
I then stick these on a metal baking tray I bought from a department store, and bingo. You need to put about 3-4 on the heavier metal models, and put spacers (either another magnet or a washer) underneath the magnet to make sure it actually has contact with the tray.
You could either get a big box to put these in, or get a large metal tool box if you want it enclosed.
I transport by 2 soul grinders, Khorne chariot, Tz chariot, blood thirster, lord of change and two daemon princes like this on one metal tray, and it works really well. If you put enough magnets and make sure they have contact the models don't move, even in the car.
I can transport:
2 Keeper of secrets
Mini rulebook/codex/dice/measuring tape
in 2 of these pistol cases and I drive 40 mins each way to my gaming store with nothing breaking and they can be carried in each hand. So look no farther Im sure any gun store or sporting goods store has these and probably even more protective if you wish with locks or harder plastic/metal possibly for more money.
Sounds good Tyrius, but not all of us live in America
Well, don't most countries have guns? or sporting goods stores? I guess other options are the ARMY TRANSPORT foam inserts that you can custom to any size. Also just checked ebay and the pistol cases are available there.
You may also be able to find similar cases for storing camera equipment, instead of pistols.
Thousand Sons ~2750 points | Eldar ~1000 points
Tzeentch Daemons ~2000 points
I use a figures in comfort fabrick army case, that holds 5 foam trays (or in my case, 2 faom trays and one three tray deep rasta tray for all the monsterous creatures/ blood crushers.
It holds the army well and keeps them safe BUT the spiky little erm.. blighters... do get caught on the foam (and quite often in my fingers) making them a pain to get in and out.
I would however suggest getting a Feldherr bag, since:
a) the foam that came with the FIC bag (the lighter stuff, not the black tray that I swapped out of a GW case) is very solid and does not support the spiky bits as well
b) My last order from FIC was placed last June and I'm still waiting on half of it. My mate ordered a Feldherr bag from Gameslore and it came 2 days later.
