How do you deal with Nidzillas?

I recently faced off against a nidzilla light list (6 carnis no tyrants) and was horribly horribly beaten. How do you, as more experienced players, as I am only starting my daemons, deal with a T6-7 multi-wound monstrosities?

I have played my pure nurgle and my mixed list vs nidzilla both do well. Fiends can bring down carnifexs and the KoS owns genestealers/tyrants. Soulgrinders with phlegm from range can rack up some kills too.

With pure nurgle the 6 breath of chaos can get the tally up quick. Then nurglings and plaguebearers can take down anything he can throw at you. I imagine bloodletters could put the hurt on some MCs too. The opponent I play runs his nidzilla as:

    2xDakkaTyrant with guard
    3x Elite dakkafex
    3x Heavy dakkafex
4-6 units of genestealers w/feeder tendrils(depending on points of game makes up how many and how many squads)

So his army rerolls everything lol.

Poisoned attacks are your friend agaisnt Carnifexes, and if you bring in epidemius and rack up the tally it just gets better.
If a Million Guardsmen die, that's a statistic. If one marine dies, that's a tragedy.

Indeed, i completely agree, followers of nurgle really come in to thier own against the bigger things, especially when the tally builds up, and the breath of chaos id the obvious answer to any genestealer problem...it can also ruin a monstrous creatures day aswell...wounding on 4+ and ignoring the armour. I can imagine the squishy slannesh having a bad day fighting them though, especially gun totting monsters...with balst weapons...ouch.

Good news as I plan on converting up a winged nurgle daemon prince. How about the choices for greater daemons though? Bloodthirster, Lord of Change, Great Unclean One, Keeper of Secrets?

(note: I plan on running a mixed list heavy with MC)

he runs his heavies as close combat monsters, and his elites with barbed stranglers, backed by warriors, genestealers and a broodlord, and 2 lichtors.

should have known thats standard and if he runs implant attack then its going to be hard to win in cc like they said Noxious Touch will be your best bet to take them down in cc now if he has a lot of warriors they can be a pain if not im not to afraid sum well placed Bolts of Tzeentch will kill them fast as for the genestealers we can have sum fun with seeing as rending dus as much to us as the french do in a war.

I have no reason to doubt he would, as he writes up his army lists before every match to tailor it against his opponent. He didn't need it last game as I played my necrons against him.
