hi my name is mike, i play a chaos army, a khorne army,
im facing an all terminator army, a.k.a death wing.
i have no idea how handle this, id love to hear what you think.
The simplest and cheesiest way to deal with the DW with chaos is with obliterators, and lash sorcerer. If that doesn't suit your fancy (it shouldn't with a khorne army). Then maybe...oh its a wild idea but it just might work. I see...a...line of beautiful girls dressed as berzerkers each one a gem, with adamantium boots, and whips on their hips its risque dare I say S&M!
But seriously Perhaps a couple units of regular marines with the mark of khorne and 2 plasma guns in rhinos. To move foward, let him deepstrike, move 12" again and rapid fire the crap out of him. It's actually a good strategy so long as on his turn when he assaults those squads you hold. Then your berzerkers can join the fight later .
I'd also keep in mind that your terminators are much cheaper than his, and 3 power weapons arn't bad, 9 attacks hitting and wounding on 4's I'd say 3 invulns each round in combat.
Another great thing (at least for hitting the initial deepstrike formation) would be vindicators.
But hey as a DW player these are just some recommendations.
A lot of what GirlHunter said is good. The vindicator will work wonders, and also if you use the Karmoon special that'll deal some heavy damage to them, and if you like, you could change the KS so that you drop the power fist/heavy flamer in favor of MoS so you will always hit first.
But yeah, vindicator, Karmoon special, oblits and plasma guns are going to be key.
plasma guns in every squad or plasma pistols with power weapons with an icon of slaneesh so you can wipe them out first
A Demon prince or 2 should carve good chunks out of terminators
But on top of what I've already suggested (as I got another idea) you could always spread out in such a way it will be tough for him to deep strike without mishapping or landing in terrain and taking Dangerous checks. Which shouldn't be too hard as he should only have around 30 models tops!
There are a number of factors to remember when facing off against Deathwing. First of all, they operate in 5 man squads so each squad loses a great deal of effectiveness as it loses models. They also have no transport options other than land raiders and you should be prepared to see a couple of those, so bring some melta weapons to help deal with them. They also lack the new SM versions of equipment so their Thunderhammer termies are much easier to deal with than conventional SM assault terminators.
The idea of fighting against an all terminator army can seem intimidating but you need to remember that you will significantly outnumber his forces and you should be able to outmaneuver him to a great degree as most of his army will have to walk. In addition to the standard take weapons that ignore his armor save strategy, you can also kill terminators by making him take a lot of armor saves. As you play a khornate force, never underestimate the capability of your Berzker squads in CC. You have superior WS and initiative (if you charge) to his terminators and a 10 man zerker squad with champ should kill around 3 terminators on the charge before factoring in the champ and his special gear, which should be good enough to prevail especially if you killed a few before you assaulted.
Well being a DW player I can say, plasma works really, and so does, more plasma. No really, plasma works great. I'm just saying.
2-3 oblits throwing plasmacannon templates at a squad of termis that just deepstriked is naaasty. I'm sad to report I had three of those hit my squad and all of them did not deviate. 24 hits on 6 models needing 2s to wound, forcing my invuln, NOT pretty. Only one survived.
A second squad of oblits landed directly infront of my termi squad and rather then risk the plasmacannon drifting back to them, they doubletapped their twinlinked plasmaguns, with much success there. Then assaulted with their powerfists.
Other then that, I'd say vindicators or a DP with warptime. What works good to slow down terminators real well is a unit of lessor demons. They will slowly widdle them down, but the key is with enough of them each with an invuln save, they will last a few rounds of combat.

Post your list. Then add more plasma. Once you've done that, add more plasma. It really turns his army of Termies into an Army with few models and a 5+ save. Maybe a Bike squad with Meltaguns for the LRs that he's alost sure to throw at you. Oblits are great here, since they have access to now one, but TWO plasma weapons (Cannons for long range, guns for 12" and under). If you can keep the fight at long range, or at least, keep him from assaulting anything but your tough CC squads, you should have it in the bag.
