Ok this thought just came across me. Since in the regular CSM wargear it states that they have:
bolter, bolt pistol and close combat weapon. Now my question is do they really get all those or would i have to place the pieces on the model itself. Because if this is true then I do shooty but still be a lil better off in something closes with me.
Yes they really do get the bolter, bolt pistol and close combat weapon. You just select and announce to your opponent what your firing with each turn, most of the regular marines have those little pouch things which could be holsters and a close combat weapon can be anything cuold be a stick from the ground.
Yes, they get all of those options as said above, which can lead to some pretty cool modelling conversions such as having a marine holstering his bolter and unsheathing a chainsword at the same time.
Basic wargear, that is, equipage that comes standard on a model, does not require proper modeling. It's only additional upgrades, such as power fists, melta guns, missile launchers, etc, that require the model to have accurate representation.
Spambot kill tally. . .337
Sweet that means my shooting squad is a lot more awesome then I thought!!! Thanks for clearing that up for me guys.
According to WYSIWYG, you would only have to model weapons/wargear to a certain degree. I.E. If you counted the Heavy Bolter in your Marine squad as a Lascannon, thats fine... but EVERY Infantry Heavy Bolter would have to be a lascannon. If you declare one dreadsnaughts Left arm/CC weapon as a Missile Launcher, every dreadnaughts Left arm/CC weapon is a missile launcher. Make sense?
very much so thanks for the heads up on that.
Any time Bro. Happy hunting, blast a few loyalists for me!
Will do as one of my main competitors plays space marines and another friend places Imperial Guard.
lol Enjoy sending them to their corpse god... and get some Battle Reports up while your at it!
