So im thinking of Taking out Abbadon from my 1750 list for a Daemon Prince and i see how everyone loves using the Lash and it sounds good being able to move the enemey 2Ds away but does it move the entire unit ? like all 10 of a Space Marine sqaud and can i position them anyway i want afterwards ? not sure on the specifics on how it works?
you move the entire unit, and you can rearrange them as long as they remain in coherancy, so if you wanna be a real ass, you can bunch them up for those lovely pie plates the defiler throws.
running a lash prince or two means that you allready are down that road so yes nice tyde pieplate sized bunches. But I use demolishers.
On a side note they could have given us 1 other HQ qorth having. I mean with all these winged slaaneshi deamon princes flying around wrecking havoc you sorta start to wonder what happened to the other demon princes...
I like to line up models in a straight line, with heavy weapons as far out on the line as I can, so every model is JUST withing 2" of one other model. That way, once I light him up, he can either lose special/heavy weapons or break unit coherency. I do that if he spreads his models out trying to hide from blasts. If he groups them together t stop me from that, The Plasma Cannon, Missile launchers, and Defiler have their way with his models.
