Khorne (Brute force is always the answer)
Slannesh (Rending rules)
Nurgle (They just will not die)
Tzeentch (They can kill you with their brains)
Pantheon (The more the merrier)
What kind of army you run? All gods? a couple? Or all one god?
If a Million Guardsmen die, that's a statistic. If one marine dies, that's a tragedy.
Voted pantheon. Played with lots of units and to get a really balanced list you need things from most of the gods. If you were to stick to one god think Nurgle or Tzeentch would be my choice, but thats just cause their special characters can have armies built around them. Guess skarbrand with slaanesh units could be viable too.
My upcoming blog in the works:
Key things for an Ork to remember in the heat of battle:
Always remember to pillage BEFORE you burn
When the pin is pulled, Mr. Stickbomb is not our friend
When in doubt empty the magazine.
And most importantly AIM towards the Enemy.
Tzeentch daemons work best with other Tzeentch daemons.
If it had to all be one way, I'd have to go with Slaanesh.
Tzeentch's bolt and breath don't do well against hordes. Breath is normally considered good for this, but I think it's a little overrated, since it's so expensive to add to a list, compared to normal flamers in other armies. I still use it, but I wouldn't want to completely rely on it when fighting hordes. Pink horrors with warp fire are good, but again, quite expensive.
Khorne has no shooting at all (besides the character no one uses), and their troops and elites aren't fast enough to catch the quicker enemies.
Nurgle lacks shooting and power, unless you use Epidemus, and that's risky.
Slaanesh has the speed and attacks to deal with hordes, and rending to deal with MEQ and light armor. Yeah, I say Slaanesh is the best of them, with Tzeentch being a relatively close second.
"Any job worth doing, is worth doing with a powerklaw."
I'm about to start a pure slaanesh force so I voted slaanesh.
