    rules for cypher

My best friend is thinking of switching to a new army, and one of them was dark angels, but we both team up in a lot of apocalypse battles and we both hate the imperium, so it doesnt make sense for him to play the dark angels, so i suggested fallen angels since i know some background on the fall to chaos with the marine chapters. I figure cypher could be a cool model, but i cant seem to find rules for cypher.

cypher hasn't been around since 2 codexes ago.
You'd just have to use his model as a normal chaos lord with a demon weapon.
Unless you find the old rules for him, and people let you use them.
Yes, I did deep-strike your sister...
Necrons : W-8 D-3 L-7 (Sleeping in their TombFoam, waiting for a new codex)
    Chaos Forces (CSM/CD): W-42 D-19 L-28
    Apocalypse Games : W-4 D-0 L-1 (4 Titans, Brass Scorp, 3 Baneblades, 2 Bombers, 3 Fighters, and a Partrage in a Pear Tree)

Dark Angels are actually a good choice for players who don't like the Imperium, given their secrets and secret agendas. While officially loyal, they usually do their own thing. Any Inquisitors who check up on the Dark Angels with too much enthusiasm often go missing afterwards.

Cypher is gone for all practical purposes. You may as well make up new rules for him with the current Codex; the old rules are probably too dated to be useful (or legal) anyway.

I guess me and jake will have to come up with some stats then. As for DA being good to play, considering me and him like to work together in apocalypse him being imperial is bad for both of us, we work well in matches together and play outside of GW against people, but itd look odd for chaos to team up an imperial army. I was thinking it'd be cool to field the converted DA models as chaos, but use a DA codex to make them work the way the DA do I dont know much about them but they seem to use a lot of fast attack, so their codex probably works much better for that than the chaos codex could.
