So, for the local tournament coming up next on the 24-25, I was expecting a crap load of guard armies (as most of the locals prefer and made myself a mostly Tzeentch daemon army (with the exception of some Plaguebearers for Objective holding.) When I went to the early sign up, not single player singed up with a guard army, other then a single Ork, Eldar and Dark Eldar, everything was Marines and Wolfs. That being said, I have three soul grinders and 9 Screamers, 9 Flamers, 4 heralds and 3 Horrors w/ Bolt to deal with MEQ and their Armor but I feel that will not be enough.
With that being said, I have 4 Heralds of Tzeentch on Chariot, should I swap two out and a small unit of Plaguebearers (5 man, out of the three squads) for a BloodThirster?
I know that isn't exactly a long and involved answer, but yes, your list needs a serious dose of 'muscle', and bloodthirsters are the strongest thing you can field in this instance. It'll do more for you than two more heralds would. However, I wouldn't drop the plaguebearers, as they're great for claiming objectives. I'd try and drop something else, perhaps the screamers (they never work as well as they're supposed to).

If the BT will be your only big gribbly, I'd go for chariots. He presents a big target and will draw a ton of fire. If you bring Grinders or other MCs I think he'd fit in nicely.
