Hey all ive recently got back into the hobby and have had the grand idea of a pre heresy world eaters army. However im not quite sure what units i should use ? should i use the chaos codex? rules wise is using a mk1 landraider likely to upset people? any suggestions? coments greatly apreciated!
I love Pathfinders.
Well Blood Angels would be a good Codex for them imho. They have a CC feel but aren't....quite as berzerker like, which World Eaters weren't back than. They were almost there but still a bit more traditional. You can run a lot of Assault Marines and the Death Company can be the Marines who had gladiator implants.
As for the MK1 LR, I don't know the rules. The model may upset some because it's really small which gives you an advantage but I wouldn't care if it's in theme.
Check my Blog for Battle Reports, useless ranting and more! Comments appreciated.

Make sure you paint them blue and white too!
Yes, I did deep-strike your sister...
Necrons : W-8 D-3 L-7 (Sleeping in their TombFoam, waiting for a new codex)
Chaos Forces (CSM/CD): W-42 D-19 L-28
Apocalypse Games : W-4 D-0 L-1 (4 Titans, Brass Scorp, 3 Baneblades, 2 Bombers, 3 Fighters, and a Partrage in a Pear Tree)
