So i'm still in the planning stages, but i was wondering on ideas of bases.
Yes... khorne is fitting on lava/magma/ fire bases; INSTEAD, i intend to do a glossy blood base, preferably with blood dripping from weapons as well.
Slaanesh: skin anybody? static grass, or even my own hair, glued to bases complete with veins. Additional benefit, nobody will touch my models if they fear personal contact with my pubic hair!
Nurgle: I'm not really into the whole puss and boil thing, so i was thinking a more necromantic bright green contagion effect
Tzeentch: not sure on this one yet. When in doubt, blue swirlies, but i need help on this one.
well what I like to do is get sand nd gravel nd roks and make it go in a spiral?
Check out ==My== blog: www.bnhblog.blogspot.com
Tzeentch neeeds scorched earth and singed ground
K - Make sure you paint some blood dripping over the edge of the bases. I think that would really complete the effect.
S - Ewwww...
N - Green slime from the Ghostbusters. Maybe a biohazard sign here & there if you're feeling cheeky.
T - Warped and twisted ground changing shape and color and boggling the mind. Also throw in some frozen crystals and spray some iridescent liquor in places (referenced from Flamers of Tzeentch, pg 39).

Tzeentch is easy.
Get a camera and spin around really fast while taking pictures.
Thanks all. Don't =you= take me seriously, i would not use pubes, tough it's quite likely i'd lie and say they were if it spared my fiends taking an assault.
Another base related question that fits in this thread... i'm using non-GW models for some of the demon princes e.g. lich lord terminus from warmachine makes an awesome nurge dp. What base should i use? The "generic" DP comes on a termie base, but i believe the nurgle dp comes on a 60mm base.
I would recommend using the larger base, as they only time you are penalized is when the base is smaller than standard. There's no real rules about making it bigger unless specifically stated under the entry (Canis of SW is a great example of this).
