In a recent game I was infored my base size (terminator base) was wrong for the deamon prince.
I was told due to the deamon prince being a monsterous creature I must use a monsterous creature base. Please help comfirm for I am unsure on this answer and no one here at the store can tell me for sure
Half use one base size other half use other.
Big Base is the way to go!
Use the base the model came with... mine came with the Termi size one (40mm?) not the dread/MC size (60mm).
Dreadnought sized base for monsterous creature.
There is no Emperor, false or otherwise.
The GW DP comes with the 40mm base, but he just barely fits on it. You can justify using either base fairly easily.
How Did This Get Here I Am Not Good With Computer
Now I'm not a 100% certain anymore, but I could swear mine came with the Dreadnought Base.
And since he would barely fit on the Termie base and clearly is a MC, it's save to assume it's the bigger base.
(Just in case, bigger base is always legal, smaller one not. Lot's of fun when I think about all the old Termies on 20mm bases I have to move to bigger ones).
I can safely say the standard GW-issue base for the Daemon Prince is indeed the 40mm Termie base, as that's what the model is supplied with. In 4th it was specified you could go 1 bigger if you wanted, but 5th is silent on the issue as far as I know.
