Me and my freind (dark eldar) is gonna meet tau and blood angels and i need help with an army list against em both.
3rd company "The Iron Hammer"
W D L
4 1 1
is this a 2 on 2 game?? how many points??
watch out for death company, shoot them 1st. blood angels are basically close combat units, so players usually spent points on boosting them or buying more troops. so they have lesser long range weapons. hit their transport and they would have to walk the rest of the way. basilisk would take out squads erally quick (if you hit).
get into cc so that they cant use they superior weapons against you. getting there would be a problem.
take a basilisk with indirect upgrade and hide it behind terrain. it should work well against both.
If you're playing IW, you REALLY want obliterators; at least three. Seriously. And if you do get three, put them into seperate squads so they cant get fired at all at once. You should REALLY have nine, coz you don't get the unit limit with IW; what else are you gunna use three elites choices on? Chosen? Pah!Originally posted by WarsmithNiG@Sep 10 2004, 122

Really splash out on Heavy Support; One havoc squad would be nice; but If you want Tank-hunters with an Iron Warriors theme, take yourself a predator with Lascannons all around. You also want to take some Loyalist tanks.

Don't take 9 Obliterators -- that is what people call CHEESE. It's also what gives us IW players a bad name. As for help with your list, try making a list that YOU think would do well against BA and DE, and post it in Army Lists. Also, BiD's IW Primer thread gives some great tactics for IW no matter who you face. I'm locking this thread.
