Not sure if this was discussed in the past, I did a search on the key word followers and after the search came up I almost smacked myself in the head for thinking it would not pull up 15 thousand threads on a Chaos Forum (stupid me). But anyways in a TS army if I take a foot sloogin squad of TS with a AC and the AC has 4 thralls. If I take casualties from fire can I elect the follower to take the wound......Ie. Does TS AC's have the abilty of buy a 5 point model that is the exquivalent to another 4 wounds (not one you can roll a save on, but another 4 wounds not on the AC is a good thing)?
Hmm, I never thought of that; but I'm at school now slacking off from coursework, so I cant look it up... but heres a suggestion, go to the GW website and find the Chaos Rules Update, it might be in there.
Can a wizard TAKE multiple thralls?
Are you sure?
'And Lo! In A Cloud Of Much Prettiness And All That,
Came Karnack! And Let It Be Known That He Said;
Just looked up on revised FAQ and there is nothing on it.
As for muliptle it says under the Thrall Entry in Book of Z that a sorcerer can take a maximum of 4.
I think so. But the hit must roll to wound against the followers T and SV.
For example my T 5 2+ sv nurgle lord has a chaos hound. Just say I was an idiot and was walking him up the centre of the board with no squad within 6 inches against Tau. Predictibaly my lord gest shot at with a pulse rifle. Not wanting my 200+ point lord to die I take the hit on the hound who has T 4 and 5+ save the wepon needs a 3 to wound and the hound gets no save and it dies if wounded.
With the new 4th ed. out you can take the wounds from the thralls, you'll still get to use majority toughness and save too.
