After trying fiends in a couple of games i can't convince myself to let them out of my list, the only problem is shelling 20$ a pop for a model i really don't like.
My first Idea was using Raveners with deamonettes and Chaos Spawn Clawsand swap the head with comething else but thats not really cheaper.
So my question is simple what do you guys use for fiends?

I have seen people using Dark Elf Cold one mounts, but it really isn't my cup of tea. I am still in the planning stages of my daemon army and I am having the same conundrum. I have heard mixed things on the goblin spider rider bodies mixed with the daemonette upper torsos, but have yet to see a good painted version of it either.
I also agree about being averse to shelling out $20 (even discounted) per model that you are likely to have anywhere to 6-18 of them in a standard FOC. However, I don't mind how they look. It is just the dent in the wallet that prevents me from really going that route.
So, I am all ears for other nice looking alternatives as well (unless I win the lottery in the near future, but you have to play in order to win ;-))
Cold Ones, Spawn + Slaanesh bits, and I use plastic Fantasy Spiders with Daemonette torsos built over the heads. Spider centaur thingies ftw.
