So I am running an almost all Slaanesh army and i will need noise marines for fluff reason and just because. I don't really like the GW ones as i feel the "sonic" weapons kinda look disappointing to me, so i wanna see what kind of conversions people have done to make noise marines. I am personally leaning toward them being more humorous then anything, such as modeling them with air horns or maybe techno them out. I modeled one with a metal guitar them already, and not sure if i am liking it. Hope you can help me, thanks in advance!
the oldschool noise marines had guitars. You could always model a marching band in slaaneshi colors
Yes, I did deep-strike your sister...
Necrons : W-8 D-3 L-7 (Sleeping in their TombFoam, waiting for a new codex)
Chaos Forces (CSM/CD): W-42 D-19 L-28
Apocalypse Games : W-4 D-0 L-1 (4 Titans, Brass Scorp, 3 Baneblades, 2 Bombers, 3 Fighters, and a Partrage in a Pear Tree)
eh, a marching band is more lame then funny, but maybe that's just me.
It's not exactly funny, but some guy ages ago used an IG lascannon (the massively oversized ones) and the warp amp from the old vehicle sprue to make a blastmaster and it looked, in my opinion, amazing. Less wierd and referential than just plain old bizarre oversized gun but hey, it was cool. I think he/she also used dryad heads to great effect.
Here's an option:

LOL, a banjo! I never thought of that. I am not crazy about the head. fluff wise, do noise marines usually keep the aquilla in some form?
