I have a CSM army but i want them mainly based more on a Tzeench Army, my question with the normal CSM troop choice can i still use them but paint them up as thousand sons colors & can i paint the possessed/obliterators thousand sons colors as well thanx
You can paint your models whatever colour you'd like, there's nothing in the rules saying certain models HAVE to be certain colours.
World Eaters: W-47 D-10 L-9
Necrons: W-19 D-3 L-2
Protectorate of Menoth: W-36 D-0 L-7
If the paint sticks you can paint it.
There is a difference between a Tzeentchian army and Thousand Sons. In the fluff, the Rubric of Ahriman turned ALL non-psychic marines in the legion to Rubric Marines. Therefore all marines (and termies, even though there are no legal rules for them) in a Thousand Sons army should be Thousand Sons as described in theCodex, painted in the right way.
But the Thousand Sons legion is not the only renegade force devoted to Tzeentch. Take the Oracles of Tzeentch. They are devoted to Tzeentch and their colour scheme is red and silver.
