I was thinking about converting some terminators to be thousand sons with the bodies of terminators & the heads of the thousand sons so what does everyone else think about that
dont they have bits from forge world that allows you to convert regular termies into thousand son termies?

I converted mine but they were the metal ones, not the plastic ones:
Take the original terminator head and cut off at the halfway point - the face being one half and the back of the head the other.
Do the same with the Thousand Sons metal head putting the cut at the base of the head dress and cut straight down (face on one side and the back the other).
Then pin the original Terminator face to the back head of the Thousand sons.
Of course, this for the metal terminator heads and metal Thousand sons heads. Just one way to do it.

If you do a web search you might be able to dig up an old GW article that used the Grey Knight Terminator body as a basis for a Thousand Sons Terminator. Could be worth looking into, but mostly, it's digging out the original helmet/face and depositing a slightly trimmed (in the neck/back of head area) Thousand Sons head in its place.
