If anyone here is interested, I wrote a fandex for Chaos Space Marines. I used to play them, but when the current codex came out I just lost interest in it, for reasons you can probably guess. The rules are mostly finished, barred any errors, and I'm currently writing the fluff.
Anyway, here is the list of additions/changes I added in, to pique your interests:
Army Wide: Everybody got +1 Weapon Skill, in exchange for being relatively more costly than a basic Marine. Theyve been in the Warp since the Horus Heresy but are still only as good as fighting as a Marine who just got his power armour? Pah!
Added Daemonic Gifts for HQ choices that have Marks of Chaos
Daemon Princes can take Daemonic Gifts and Daemon Weapons
Greater Daemons can take Marks of Chaos, Daemonic Gifts and psychic powers, in exchange for taking up a HQ slot. They still deploy by sacrificing a friendly unit sergeant/independent character.
Chaos Lords have Eternal Warrior (he's been in control of a warband of chaos marines and fought in the Horus Heresy. He's not going to fall to some no-name unit sergeant with a power fist)
Added the Aspiring Champion as a HQ choice. He's like the old Chaos Lieutenant
Gave Chaos Sorcerers better psychic powers, but changed Lash to match the Pavane of Slaanesh. Also gave them the Madness of Chaos, a psychic-hood style rule which makes enemy psykers more likely to suffer a Perils of the Warp attack.
Added a special character for Alpha Legion, Iron Warriors, Night Lords and Word Bearers
Chaos Terminators are now Fearless, as befitting their balls of steel.
Removed the stupid Possessed random power table. Instead they get an extra rule depending on which Mark of Chaos they take.
Added Khorne's Skullcrushers, which are Berserkers riding Juggernauts. They are expensive shock troops similar to Thunderwolf Cavalry.
Added Tallymen of Nurgle, which are uber-plaguemarines. Great for static defence!
Added Acolytes of Tzeentch, a powerful sorcerer coven.
Added Chaos Cultists, which function like SM Scouts, though of course not as strong or brave.
Lesser Daeons can take Marks of Chaos
Chaos Bikers can be held in reserve and enter play by Outflanking.
Chaos Raptors can take Marks of Chaos.
Added Blessed of Slaanesh, a cavalry unit of Noise Marines mounted on swift Steeds of Slaanesh
Added Daemonic Beast Packs and Chaos Fury Packs, which are summoned like Lesser Daemons
Lowered the cost of Chaos Spawn, and also changed how they are taken in your army, and how they move (which is similar to how they move in Warhammer Fantasy)
Buffed the Obliterators' Toughness
Gave Defilers' some different turret options: the Skullshredder, a rapid firing gatling cannon, and the Fleshmelter, an Inferno cannon-style flamer weapon
Added the Giant Chaos Spawn
Added a goddamn drop pod. Seriously, why dont they have drop pods anyway.
Abaddon the Despoiler
Kharn the Betrayer
Typhus, Herald of Nurgle
Lucius the Eternal
Ahriman the Exile
Sho'karran, the Black Talon
Captain Ingo Pech
Draas, the Red Pilgrim
Tallymen of Nurgle
Acolytes of Tzeentch
Chaos Space Marines
Blessed of Slaanesh
Chaos Land Raider
Giant Chaos SPawn
Dreadclaw Drop Pod

Hello Kaptain. I've removed your link, because it includes some cases identical stat lines found in the Chaos Codex. To let you know, it's against forum rules and copyright infringement to include any GW licensed material and/or stats they've published. Rather limiting, I know, but GW has recently been known for bringing on the legal heat to sites like LO for not enforcing copyright protection.

Well, thats a bit annoying. Is it okay to say that anyone who wants to read it can PM for a link?
Yep, that's ok. GW has made it nigh on impossible to have a public discussion about such topics. Extremely frustrating actually.
