Ok so I started playing 15 years ago then took a long lay off and finally started playing again... when I play my CD I bring all kinds of lists but I'm new to this site and see u guys talk about using the chariot of tzeentch a lot and I'm curious why? Seems like its weak and cost as much as another unit would so what are the benifits or tactic / reasons to use him? Kinda seems like bolt fired could take it out pretty easy... no one around here uses them...
O and same goes for the fateweaver... seems expensive for a weak charactor... and to only reroll some saves with the chance of dying... am I missing something here? Please give me some info! Thanks !
I use a chariot of tzeentch with bolt, Master of sorcery and we are legion for 110 points. As a jetbike he zooms around getting on vehicle side armour and killing transports. He also fires 3 S5 AP3 shots at any marines in the open. There is no reason to get him much closer to the enemy than 20" or so and his fast speed keeps him alive. 5 wounds abd good invulnerable saves should keep him safe from heavy weapons adn massed bolters shouldnt be in rappid fire range. In later turns he can turboboost to contest any enemy held objectives that you cannot take and just hope the game ends there.
Fateweaver is expensive but has its uses. Feinds, seekers, The masque, bloodletters and Daemoneetes are all fantastic units if it were not for their vulnerability. Fateweaver solves this. Feinds in cover with one model near the fateweaver are resistant to most weapons and then next turn they charge and kill. Another use is to shephers 3 daemonprinces preferably with wings. some of the princes can block LOS to the Fateweaver to keep him alive while he alows them to reroll armour, cover and invulnerable saves.

Ok... I see with the chariot I saw people giving him the icon on here so he would lose one of the other things but I understand how u are just keeping him as far away as possible.... I now understand the idea for fateweaver... seems as he's more for bigger games though
