I play a largely undivided army with a special focus on Khorne as my patron god, but lately I've been reading "Storm of Iron" (fantastic read if you haven't picked it up), and I've thought about converting my standard CSM to Iron Warriors.
One idea I had was getting heads from the WoC box. It seems to me those heads better represent the Iron Warriors, or at least my representation from what I've read and also see on the cover of the book.
Does anyone have any pictures of this in practice or has thought about the idea themselves? and on another note, has anyone else picked up Iron Warriors after reading this fantastic book?
Now if we can only get basalisks back into the iron warrior lists, I'd be tempted to make them...
There's an AWESOME iron warriors Warhound in the projects forum.
Some of the conversions I've seen used spare parts from techmarines/techpriests.

A few pieces of (in my opinions) brilliant Iron Warriors parts from Chapterhouse Studios. Techmarine conversions work well too, there is an Iron Warriors pack on the 40k store, but it's pretty lackluster for the price/compared to the off-site alternatives.
