Well, the title asks the question.
well i would say at least three strong troop choices. In my Plague Guard Army i am going to have three units of 7 plague marines in a rhino. and four in 1750pts
i am meant to put soething clever and cool in this box, But do you know what i really cant think of anything at all. LOL <-----sums me up very well
1 For every 500 points as a minimum guide. My Chaos army at 1500 has 5, granted they are in squads of six, but still.
The Wolf time is upon us!
Rep for the Rep God! Positive for the Positive Throne!
Armies: Space Wolves, Imperial Guard, Emperors Children, Necrons, Eldar
Generally the way you want to look at it is as Wolf Guard described, for every 500 points add another troop choice. For example:
500-1000 pts = 2 troops choices
1001-1500 pts = 3 troops choices
1501-2000 = 4 troops choices
2001+ pts = 5-6 troops choices
Now I only added the +1 to the points cost to show the gap between, obviously you're not going to do a major overhaul of your 1000 pts list if for some reason you decide to play 1001 pts, that's rediculous.

I understand what you guys are saying, that's a sensible way of deciding on how many troops to bring, thanks.
