So, if say a squad of marines or terminators were driving to a battle or a particularly important opts, would some of them feel fear? I know they would never say it to their brothers or subordinates but would they still feel it?
I am of course reffering to regular marinse no Khorne or Nurgle worshipers.

I'm presuming you mean Chaos Marines here?
Last I was aware (although admittedly I haven't been keeping up with my marine stuff) loyalist marines had a universal fearless rule. I believe some of the Chaos Marines had the rule, but only the higher up, more important ones.
From a straight fluff point of view, I'd like to think Chaos Marines don't feel fear - or at least not to the extent that it's going to see them cowering behind something and hiding until it's all over. Maybe I'd best defer to a more knowledgeable Chaos scholar, though!
Rules aside I do not beleive that Space Marines of any type feel fear. Although Chaos Space Marines are no longer Space Marines many of them once were, and as Space marines one particular quote stands out in my mind.As an aside WOHOO 1000 POSTS!!!!They shall be my finest warriors, these men who give of themselves to me.
Like clay I shall mould them, and in the furnace of war forge them.
They will be of iron will and steely muscle.
In great armour shall I clad them and with the mightiest guns will they be armed.
They will be untouched by plague or disease, no sickness will blight them.
They will have tactics, strategies and machines so that no foe can best them in battle.
They are my bulwark against the Terror.
They are the Defenders of Humanity.
They are my Space Marines AND THEY SHALL KNOW NO FEAR
Ask me about the Black and White Space Marine on the Black and White Bike!!!
They feel fear, but only insofar as it's "Oh crap, that's one really nasty guy I don't particularly want to fight". This applies to loyalists as well. (Grey Knights, Khorne Berserkers, and some others are, of course, Fearless and are either too awesome or too loony to feel it or care if they do.)
"The sergeant major asked me what my job is. I told him it's to do what I am told. He gave me a medal. I like the Imperial Guard."
"Innocentia Probat Nihil"
I think the opposite all space marines feel fear not to the same extant we do what makes them hard is the training they have under gone while a space marine will feel fear he will not let this effect him chaos space marines feel slightly less fear then loyalist marines but they do not have the benefit of the same training keeping in mind that offcourse the high a chaos space marine is ranked the more time they have had to get over this fear and are more likely to have chaotic gifts that make them even more “fearless”.
Hope this helps in terms of rules no idea I’m only a fluff master
I would think that the feel fear for others, but not for themselves. I would believe that a lone space marine going one on one with a Bloodthirster would feel fear, but for thoes who would die, if/when he fails. Are their any mentions of a Space Marines "courage" in any of the fluff? If there are then he knows fear for you can not have courage without fear.
In a few of the books they admit to feeling fear. In one of the word bearer's books, the dark apostle gets captured by dark eldar and they put a device on him that cuts him off from the warp, and he's freaking out because he believes the gods abandoned him.
Noise marines could experience fear, as it's a sensation...
Plague marines probably not
Zerkers are just to lobotamized to feel fear
Thousand sons are just automatons.
Yes, I did deep-strike your sister...
