Well as the title says, I want to use a good Chaos Lord in Terminator armour for fluff reasons. Anyhow these are the ones I can think of at the moment
Pair of lightning Claws

I didn't bother typing Chaos Lord With Terminator Armour four times so I have just listed the upgrades.

Personally, Daemon weapon is they way Im going.
don't forget about the marks, they can add a whole new perspective to a chaos lord.
like shooty and 4+ inv save?
mark of tzeentch, daemon weapon
like super quick (striking, not moving...) character killer?
mark of slaanesh, daemon weapon
like super tough wraithlordkiller guy?
mark of nurgle, daemon weapon
or just add a little punch (always worth it without a daemon weapon IMO)?
add a mark of khorne
if you're completely nuts, you can choose mark of khorne and the daemon weapon but thats bound to go wrong when you need it the least...
my personal favorite chaos lord in terminator armour is one with a daemon weapon and a combi-melta for 150 points all together. i'd like to try out the nurgle one with the daemon weapon once, however.
I'm parshall to:
Mark of Slaanesh, Twin Lightning Claws
The Wolf time is upon us!
Rep for the Rep God! Positive for the Positive Throne!
Armies: Space Wolves, Imperial Guard, Emperors Children, Necrons, Eldar
If you're looking at mowing through MEQs, then the two choice weapons are twin-claws & the Nurgle Daemon weapon.
Side: Have you considered a Sorcerer with Warp Time? He's competitive with all our Lord configurations and has Instant Kill.
Spambot kill tally. . .337
Have you perhaps considered a Slaaneshi Sorcerer with a Familiar, Warptime, Lash of Submission and that Force Weapon?

Yeah, I wouldn't pass up a Mark if going for a Termie Lord.
I've used one with MoN and the Daemon Weapon. I could see tossing a combi on him, too, but he generally goes along with my other Termies, so hasn't really needed it.
You don't want to overdo the points with options, but the Mark is pretty necessary.
Aeroplane has a fair point I think. There certainly are times when a daemon weapon has caused my more grief than good, I suppose it's more of the Chaos gamble mechanic (like dreadnoughts) we have now. For the most part I think the potential gain outwieghs the risk, for the better daemon weapons anyway.
My own personal hurdle often comes in the way of getting into combat quick enough to validate the point purchase (at least, for the whole Nurgle kit-out). Sometimes I don't get the fellow and his squad down until turn three or four, and then of course it takes another turn to charge (assuming you can) and so on and so forth, I think for a while I might be trying some alternative HQ choices, or at least, my daemon weapon will have it's own transport, etc. (Not sure if that makes total sense, but, eh, whatevs)
