Wind of chaos
Gift of chaos
Bolt of change
I am trying to take a thousand sons squad, and I want to know which psychic power is the best one to take.
Thnx in advance
I usually go with bolt for the range, but I'm curious about warptime and close combat...after all, the sorceror has 4 attacks at I4 at the charge, with a power weapon and a chance to instakill...
For synergy with the squad, Doombolt is probably the most popular option. Plus, its cost-effective.
Given the ranged nature of Thousand Sons, you might want to rethink Warp Time.
Spambot kill tally. . .337
I usually take doombolt as its range is enough to be shooting with the marines, but it is still used for shooting at the same targets as you would with the T sons and is effective to this purpose, as well as being the cheapest of the powers. I wouldn't use warptime for an aspiriring sorceror, as ideally I want the thousand sons shooting, and in assault despite a 3+ or 4++ save, they are not effective.
Some people I know use wind of chaos, and it can be effective especially against high toughness or save enemies, but due to its lower cost, I prefer doombolt.

for clarity, I believe you meant "doombolt" in the first line there...
Yep, the number of times I made mistakes like that yesterday is unbelievable, I'll edit it to avoid confusion by any one else.
