Today I played my first real game against the Grey knights codex.
BLESSING OF THE BLOOD GOD = 2+ INVUlNERABLE SAVE AGAINST FORCE WEAPONS.
I had 2 bloodthirsters with blessing on them. I also had three khorne princes with iron hide and blessing and wings.
He didnt like it at all.
I didnt even tailor my list, I always run blessing for all the nasty psychic abilities that inflict lots of damage.
Bedlam, death, destruction, and Karnage.
Interesting build. Not one that I use at all, but it may be decent against the grey knights. Methinks a battle report is in order.
Record: Win - Loss - Draw: Hive Fleet Pandora (New) 32-6-6 Space Wolf 7th Co. 52-11-6
Blood Angels 12-4-2 Daemonhunters 20-8-3
Imperial Guards 12-5-2 Daemons 8-3-2
Not even tailored, ehh. Well I bet it felt that way to him.
Daemons have the ability to beat down the grey knights, the only real problems are warp quake and dark excommunication on the dread knights.
All I can say is watch out for that Dark Excommunication power. Takes away all demonic gifts (and that includes your power weapons for BL and rending claws for Demonettes).
