So I am making my 2000 point chaos army, a 2500 point army. I mostly play for fun so I added 14 possessed (In squads of 7.) and a extra Rhino, but I have enough for Huron Blackheart, Fabius Bile, or Lucius the Eternal. Which which should I pick? I have no idea, as a extra question does anybody know if Bile can convert cult marines or just regular ones?
Yeah I play Nurgle?
he can only convert regular marines, but as for your initial question, we kinda need more information first. All the HQ's play a different way and I personally wouldn't recommend one just because. sooooo more info please.
Oh ok, my army is:
1 Daemon Prince with Wings, MoN, and Warptime
1 Sorcerrer with MoT, Bolt of Change, and Gift of Chaos
7 Plague Marines, Champion, 2 meltas
7 Plague Marines, Champion, 2 Flamers (Sorcerrer goes here)
7 Plague Marines, Champion, 2 plasma guns
1 Vindicator, extra armor
3 Rhinos (For Melta Marines, flamer squad, and 1 possessed squad)
7 Havoks, 4 Missile launchers
12 Lesser daemons
5 Chosen (4 Meltas)

personlay id go with Huron Blackheart as he would be more effective in your army with his flamer and warptime he would be a great man to have. As he can thin troops down before getting into closs combat where as lucius is closs range only and most ppl will focus fire him down very fast as he is a force to be reconned with in closs combat same with fabius bile if you had more regulare marines then he would help alot but as you dont he wouldnt be so good
also as your a nurgle player why dont you go for typhus again great abilltys and with termi armour your more likely to get him into combat or even deepstrike him in
The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving.
You cant have any, you have a prince and a sorcerer, 2 HQ choices my friend!
PROUD TO BE IN THE BRITISH ARMY.
~~ Surrender and serve me in life, or die and slave for me in death~~
I'd drop the sorcerer for Typhus, that way you've got a more nurgline theme and whilst the prince can't take BOC he can take Warptime and wings, making him pretty nasty in combat (oh, and he's T6) Besides, Typhus is quite a psyker himself auto casting WOC and Warptime. I'd drop the lesser daemons for typhus as well since you don't seem to have any icons for them and, with plagues and rhinos you don't really need them (your possessed are doing their job anyway). The only reason I use daemons in my TS is to grab objectives with troops that have a decent chance of making it halfway across the board by turn 4. While you're at it, I'd also grab possession on the Vindi, the -1 Bs doesn't hurt as much as being stuck just out of range with your demolisher cannon after being continuously shaken.
"Take their gold, burn their homes, kill their familes and enslave their souls. Show them no mercy...oh and could you post these letters while you're out?"
-Malekith, Witch King of Naggaroth.
doesn't the codex say that lesser daemons can only deep strike on troops that have an icon? I could be wrong but I think I remember reading that.
also, as someone else said, you can't take 3 HQ choices.
edit: yes, without an icon of chaos, you cannot deep strike the daemons. Page 61 of the codex.

I'd personally take kharn, but of those 3 I'd go for huron. As for dropping an hq (which you'll have to) I'd drop the sorcerer.

Oh ok, thanks, I had a few Icons, and some other stuff, but what I wrote was off the top of my head. I'll drop the Sorrerer and go for Typhus, I didn't have enough points to go for him originally.
Yeah I play Nurgle?
