the more i read about this dude the more i think he is a sleeper.
yeah he's big, but he gets auto-wind of chaos AND nurgle's rot. not only that but he has frag grenades and a daemon weapon that acts like a force weapon. that seems mindblowing devastating in CC.
how does he play out on the table? and how do you usually run him?
I love the smell of promethium in the morning.
Ive never seen him ran but at the OLD (will be missed) GW store at my local mall one of employees would not take anything but.
One problem. Herald of Nurgle, Lord of Decay, tough as old boots. Except can be instantly killed by anything S8 (powerfist, melta etc) as I think he is T4(5) IIRC.
I've used him but like its already been said, he just gets insta gibbed by powerfists and melta guns, i usually ran him towards hive-tyrants/carnifexes/wraithlords. I don't plan to use him again until hes either toughness 5 or an eternal warrior! >.<
I haven't played WITH him, but I have played AGAINST him. He would deepstrike in with a group of termies next to some icon and melt something fiercely... and then go looking for fun things to do. Just keep him away from Scout Sergeant Telion and powerfitsts and he should be dandy... if a powerfist DOES get near him, feel free to wipe the entire unit before it swings... in fact, feel encouraged. >_<
