    Huron.....

    So my Space Marines have recently taken a turn down the path of darkness and I've got some questions, the first one: what is the general consensus on how to use Huron and if he is even any good? I am thinking Red Corsair/Alpha Legion with some Demons running around. Please help =) thanks!

    Huron sucks, ruleswise...especially with the warptime nerf...

    Huron sucks? Having a heavy flamer, warptime and being able to choose between powerfist and powerweapon for an efficient price doesn't fall into the suck-category for me. The only problem I have with him is his mobility. You want him in the thick of it, so that means at least a Rhino to get him there.

    He still dies to a powerfist and cost more than a DP, he have one less attack than a normal lord when fighting with his power weapon(no bolt pistol), HF is ok and all, but not great. And warptime just got nerfed so it's almost worthless nowadays...

    I think I missed a FAQ or something, but how and/or when did Warptime get nerfed? Are you referring to the leaked 6ed rules?

    Check out the new FAQs on GWs webpage. Warptime now requires you to re-roll ALL of the dices if you use it, even the successful ones...and in most cases Huron will hit on 3+ and wound on 2+...warptime(if it doesn't get stopped by a hood or something) might be useful maybe once in a game, at most...

    That sucks! Huron is supposed to be such a badass too! Hm... I'm sure there is a strong and creative way to use him... there has to be....

    Wow. That DOES suck. Thanks for the heads-up tho, I always seem to miss out on new FAQs.

    with the nerf huron is just not worth it anymore.

    with the old rules he was pretty good against horde armies, as the HF would kill loads of enemies before he would charge. now it is even more foolish to use him over lucius. i won't consider DP's because they are MC's and in a different class. sometimes you want an HQ to be able to hide in a unit and rhino.
