Just as the thread topic suggests, I was wondering if any Daemon players out there use the Slaanesh Herald on a Chariot? It looks like it would pack quite a kick in combat. Lots of attacks, lots of wounds, decent toughness, great initiative, fleet, rending and if paired with Unholy Might, it looks pretty good for strength. Strength 4 with rending could hurt armour up to 13, which again is pretty good. Not to mention the price could be cheap too. Don't get me wrong, I really like the Tzeentch Herald and it is tough to beat, but if I put a couple of TzChariots with a couple of SlaanChariots, it may be a great combination. Has anyone ever tried these and how do they work out?
The Slaanesh Chariot is a Beast. A Monster for Christs Sake.
for 75(unholy Might) Points you got a str5 T5 model with fleet, assualt 12, assualt and defensive grenades, and rending.
The problem with him is that for 60 Points you can buy 2 Fiends, and for 15 more points you can buy another Fiend.
But if you Max your Points out on Fiends, and want a Buddy to follow them around I would Suggest trying one Out. Say at 1850 you normally run 3-4 Tzeentch Chariots. If you were to take one of these Chariots and buy a slannesh Chariot you would save some points that you could take onto a Squad to make it bigger, and still have a Monster that can follow your Fiends around. Also your game really shouldnt change all that much if you switch one out. Change is what people win tournaments with...knowing the other players fighting style only gives you the advantage...if you change something up and he does not adapt fast enough then you have the advantage
Thanks for posting about the Slaanesh Chariot I havent played with them Since the Codex came out.....time to get my creative Juices flowing and make one.

Slaanesh chariots are damn tasty, and they are excellent when running alongside Fiends or Seekers to give that bit of added insurance against bad dice.
6 Seekers + a chariot herald will ruin most things outside of a horde unit or deathstar. They're great for chasing down transports or else hunting out slower MC's thanks to all their rending goodness.
Like all Slaaneshii units though, they're fragile as hell! Basic bolters make a huge mess of them... I find if you think of them being a bit like a Dark Eldar unit or really any type of glass cannon, they'll preform magic for you.
But they'll never work if you simply try and use them as a simple hammer type of unit.
I like them but yes fiends are better. They can take grenades unlike fiends. It is a shame they are only BS3 as I would like to add gaze or pavine to them but with only a 50% chance of a hit it is not really worth the upgrade.
