What can best represent a Dark Apostle's Acursed Crozius? And what can you get away with it?
It's going to a on a staff, so it will be a large weapon.
And also do you think a Dark Apostle can be a Lord or a Sorccer or both?
I ask cuz i just got these awsome idea, and i wanna build it tommarrow.
Possessed i could see though...
Praise be to the Emperor!!
Intresting... Question: What does it's Loyalist Counter parts do? I don't have the Current Space Marine Codex.
Probably best as a PW as thats basically what the SM ones do. BUT since it would be Chaos, and since Dark Apostles are part of the Word Bearers and they like Daemons, a Daemon Weapon would be very, very easy to spin in fluff.
Force Weapon I can't see though, as Apostles are supposed to be warped Chaplains, not librarians.
Thanks guys. I was gunna buy a space marine Librarium, and kit bash to make it a dark apostle, but now it seems like a bad idea. Thank you everybody. I'll make my dark apostle a better way.
Dark Apostles vary with both their powers and how they desecrated their crozius. For some, they have no powers and it's just a power weapon. Others have many blessings of the Chaos gods and their weapons are all possessed. And everything in between.
So honestly, you could do whatever you want to represent them. Personally, I took a Space Marine Chaplain, converted the head of his mace into an eight-pointed star, added a cape and redid all the Imperial iconography. When I play him, he's typically an unmarked Lord with a daemon weapon, though I have played him as a sorcerer or marked at times.
Give me a day to find a decent camera and then sure. I'm the first to say though, I'm not the best painter.
