I hear from many people that demonettes are fantastic, but to me they don't seem all that wonderful could someone shine a little bit of pro demonette light in my eyes
Agate's Theorem TM
Awesome + Awesome = Double Awesome
they look kool, thats a pro, lol.
im not fond of them either, but not being a EC player i dont know how effective they are.
I adopted a cute lil' death fetus
from Fetusmart! Hooray fetus! </a>
they are fairly cheap and have rending claws, very good at taking out space marines and other high armour sv/toughness models.
Wir Werden Vorherrschen!
"I cast Lvl. 3 Eroticism. You turn into a real beautiful woman."
Like any other model they are only as effective as their commander and his dice rolls! Sure the models look great and that's a bonus, but if you suck as a general the only place you are going to admire them is at home (hehehe!. They are cheap and have great attacks so use them proper and they'll do you proper! Provided the luck of the dice is with you as well. Good luck and have fun.
They can do great against smaller units that rely on toughness and armor to survive. When they hit a large unit that uses numbers to win they don’t do as well.
I decently think their low points cost makes them worth it, or at least a cheep alternative to bloodletters.
Their real advantage lies in taking down things like marines or necrons. for 150 points you get 30 attacks on the charge, giving an average of 6 auto powerweapon hits and 9 normal hits. This is usually enough to drop most of a marine squad or a good 75% of a necron squad. But against stuff like swarm bases and IG they don't fare as well.
