What's with there being no model for him? Do I just have to make my own? Is he even worth it?
I am with stupid /\
Is he even worth it?
Im presuming you're asking that question in terms of stats. Thats for you to decide. You brought up the topic of Lucius.
Why is there no model?
GW just..still...can't be bothered to design and sculp the figure. If you DO want to use Lucius, converting work is in order.
I always wanted to convert a Lucius just for coolness factor.... meh, i eat my hopes and dreams.
Make sure if u do make one make lots of screaming faces and stuff liek that on his armor. Also give him a big pink pimp hat. I always thought of him as the deamonette's pimp, with that whip an all.

Lol, yeah he wouldn't be bad as a pimp, lol his transport would be a pimpmobile...lol.
But back to topic, Lucious is pretty damned good. Well, I mean you can really kick some ass with him, if you use him right. Also, the idea that he never really dies is pretty sweet. This follows onto modelling him, I would basically get a hq choice of any other army you really hate, mnake sure he is good in cc, and basically turn him into Lucious, but make sure that the model shows Lucious' head, and that some evidence of the former body is there, from being changed into Lucious. Read the fluff bout him if you don't get what I'm saying.
Use the slaanesh AC body, and that mutation head with the long tongue and no hair, with scars cut across it using a modelling knife. Then use the slaanesh AC sword, and i don't know about the whip. there you have it. And the reason why GW haven't made a model is because lucius is always changing, and possessing those who kill him, so he always looks different. So just imagine a hive tyrant killing him...would he turn into that?
The only difference between tattooed people and non-tattooed people is that tattooed people are awesome and can kick your ass.
"War does not determine who is right - only who is left."
There's a convetred Lucius in UK White Dwarf 299. He looks quite smart, but his head is too big.
You cannot win, for to fight us is to give us power.
That's very good point, he's clever that man. Never thought of that before. So you could convert a Lucius the Eternal from (say) a Farseer and still make him look suitable.Originally posted by Lordofchange@Oct 30 2004, 11:26

Thinking a bit more about this, what happens if he's killed by a Bloodthirster? The 'Thirster will definitely feel triumph, and so should turn into Lucius, but how does a daemon with no mortal body turn into Lucius?
All the old Specialist Games resources are currently being uploaded at the Tactical Command forums, and you can find them here: http://www.sg.tacticalwargames.net/fanatic/.
I'd say it depends on how poweful the possesion is.
What i mean is that as the Bloodthirster will have possessed a champion before to be summoned, Lucius's spirit will try to overtake the possessed body. Obviously the thirster wil lfight this, but methinks the constant attempt to takeover will mean the bloodthirster will 'demorph', with his spirit escaping eventually out of the champion to become Lucius.
However, this is all a presumption.
I don't think a tyrant has emotions, per say... if it feels anything, it would be intestinal gas from digesting him.

Hm, come to think of it there isn't any real explanation for him getting killed by a Hive Tyrantor a Blood Thirster. But when you do think about it, he only really fights enemies that he considers of amazing martial prowess, and always looks for a challenge in which he can use his amazing skills in close combat. So, when brute force is required, perhaps he wont want to participate, also, he may only want to ever fight a loyalist, or a warrior that he can be truly matched with.\
I dont think a BH or a HT would be his kind of match.
But hey thats just me, Im working off the fluff Ive read.
