Post ideas for overpriced, overpowered, tooled out and massively obscene squads...they don't have to be terminators, but they do have to cost more than 500 points and be so outrageous that most people would never play them.

    I'll start the ball rolling...

    9 Chosen Terminators:

    Mark of Tzeech,
    Inferno bolts,
    Wind of chaos,
    Gift of Chaos,
    Free aspiring champ w/
60 points of minor tzeech psyker powers (to get the reroll power)
    Bedlam staff
    Banner of tzeech

That's over 600 points worth of terminating goodies.

Sorta small squad for chaos if you wanna go with something impractical and horribly expensive

19 Aspiring Chosen Terminator Champions for Lord retinue

    - Veteran Skills: Counter attack
    - Each has a power weapon and combi-melta
    - Each has a Chaos Spawn and a Chaos Hound
    - All have Demonic Resilience and Demonic Mutation

    Total cost - 2109 points
    total models - 57

Now that would be an incredibly powerful squad ha, can also give them bionics if you wish

Wow, now if you could only actually field that as an army  ...I definitively was not thinking on the same scale as you.

Damn, Kirasu beat me to it. I created a squad much like that one. My squad had, on average, 220 power weapon attacks on the charge.

But, I can create a single unit with over 100 models and over 10,000 points. Can anyone guess what? Clue: it's not from the Chaos army list.

There was a thread like this a month or two ago. I can't remember exactly what it was, but the most expensive Termie squad was a lord with retinue of nineteen Chosen Champions, all with the Mark of Tzeentch. The total was just over four thousand points.

You can add a ton of different upgrades to them, but my favorite tends to be Nurgle.

When playing huge multiplayer battles, I am usually in command of the Elites section of our army (Black Legion with tons of Marks). Nurgle Terminators are nearly impossible to kill and if you give them Daemonic Strength, Power fists, and Spiky Bits, they become killing machines.

Yup, 2-5 man guardian squads with Starcannons and the rest is a seer council. I've attempted to do that in a 1,000 point game once, it was wrong.
