Is the Sentinel Powerlifter varitant (available from Forge World, http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalog/IMPER...T_VEHICLES.html, Sentinel Powerlifter) legal to use with a Lost & Damned army? I saw them on the website and would love to field them, as my army hails from a munitions world turned traitor (Narsine, if anyone must know). But I'm not sure how far the Traitor Recon entry can be stretched.
Hmm.. I don't have the IG codex, but why not simply field one as a sentinel with two close combat weapons. (I'm sure such a thing can be done.) You could convert some spikes and stuff onto it to represent the lost and the damned beefing it up for combat.
Probably not very effective, but fluffy.
you could use one of those though you'd have to consult your opponent.
Yeah.. looking around my idea might be difficult. Most sentinels seem to have only one arm and I've only seen CC weapons on the Catachan variants. Still.. You could convert it quite easily to represent a regular traitor recon sentinel by sticking a ranged weapon on to it to represent some emergency customisation. Sentinels have a WS trait, after all, so to have them with makeshift CC weapon (the lifting arms) wouldn't seem innapropriate to me.
Take a look at the rules for the Powerlifter Sentinel to see if it might already have a mention on which armies can legally take it... Since the rules are only in Imperial Armour I which is pretty expensive, either ask to take a look at Your GW store or contact FW directly. There's no way they can require You to buy an expensive HC book just to field a couple of Powerlifter Sentinels! :glare:
If You can't obtain the actual rules in any sensible way, just use the Vehicle Design Rules in CA2004 to build Your own facsimile rules for it, and field the model using those.
Personally, I'd allow You to play it: It fits perfectly into a LatD army, scrounging their stuff from wherever they can, and powerlifters would certainly be more common than armed military Sentinels.

hardly doubt that the GW rule-boys will know, better send the mail to FW
