yes, yes, yyeeeesssssssss cough...hack....excuse me
Obliterators are the most versatile units in 40k IMHO. They can destroy anything, and have a few weapons twin-linked!
In other words, they rawk.
If Knowledge is Power, then Genius is Tyranny.
The fact is that Obliterators are the most versatile units in at least the chaos army, heck maybe even the entire warhammer.
For 70 points... proparbly the only down side... you get a guy that's capable of firing a great chunk of all man portable heavy weapons in the game.
In addition he's toughness 5, 2 wounds, and has a 2+ save, and not enough with that he's got like 5+ invul too.
That info should make him attractive to most chaos armies out there, especially the Iron warriors since they ain't got any limit on the number of obliterator squads they can field.
check out my blog: DRAGONSLAYERO
I WAS IN THE IMPERIAL (Norwegian) GUARD!
 I thought you could only take three squads in an IW army ( ie. the three elites slots )Originally posted by Dragonslayero@Sep 19 2003, 04:45

yea you can only have 3 units but i think he meant that the normal 0-1 obliterator unit doesnt apply to the IW.
Warhammer is expensive.
That's what I thought, it's just not like O to omit details.
YES YES YES YES YES!
I so love these dudes. Really cool models and not too shabby on the field either.
....unfortunately i have to play black legioninstead of thousand sons to have them... which is freaking odd to me since tzeentch is the master iof change and mutation.... bah!
Hell yes! I love them! As an Iron Warriors player I tend to use 6 of em on a very regular basis (only in 2000+ games though). As Dragonslayero said, they're the most versatile unit out there. Whatever you want to shoot at, the Obliterators have exactly the right weapon for the job, unlike Havocs for instance.
Ze titles yez...
