    Hey there.
Im gonna be giving my Nurgle deamon prince a Dreadaxe, and i was wandering how to convert it. I was either thinking of getting a Bloodthirster axe, or an Ork warboss chainaxe. Any other things i might be able to use for a dreadaxe?

    thanks in advance.

Use the Bloodthirster axe. Just make it all manky and rusted, and put a little pva on it to make some slime/general slop.
Remember it doesn't have to be an axe, it could be a sword or something else. You could make a glaive-type weapon with a coctail stick and a DE vehicle scythe. But I've dne that first, and that would be unoriginal. So long as it looks like a bladed weapon (regardless of how rusted it is) and declare what it is at the start of a battle its fine

Nothing's original these days. It's all been done before. So feel free to take monsieurcartier's idea and steal it as much as you wish. He wasn't the first anyway. And even if he was, he can't prove it.

My point was that you can do what you want with your daemon weapons, not to say "look at me, i'm the best modeller in the world"

Also, that's not what I said. That's a fantasy orc spear and bits from the talos. I meant a coctail stich and scythes from a raider or something. Not that I'm being pedantic or anything

I'm currently making a Slannesh daemon prince with the same weapon, dreadaxe, I just had to paint it but am using the axe from the fantasy khorne chaos champion which is one handed so i can give another CCW on the offhand of the model.

Look at the fantasy pages on the gamesworkshop site, a lot of fantasy models use all kinds of cool looking axes.... that site that was given though had one cool looking axe idea that i might consider ordering though.

You don't need to make something your lord is carrying in two hands a 2-handed weapon. If he has a holstered pistol or knife etc. then he can still count as being armed with that weapon (its still WYSIWYG).

That axe is quite nice, but its kinda blunt and straight-forward (obviously, its a khorne axe ), not really suited to slaanesh. But if you think it will work then go ahead. I've just seen a pretty cool looking TS lord made from a GK terminator, with his halberd all purple-pink blended. Looked cool.
