im playing my friend a quick game tommorow at game-workshop help please
ill be able to move around the terrian to my liking so please tell me how i should use my troops in this match its not points so that rule about sacred number dosnt matter
16 beserkers with mark of khorne }320
and kharn the betrayer or custom deamon prince*** }185
14 nurgle marines with mark of nurgle }260
typhus herald of nurgle with retinue }230
just tell me if i should divide up my sqaud of 16 into 2 sqauds of eight so i can use a guy with axe of khorne and a guy with power fist or keep them the same. And since its a small battle and kharn would get easily shot down since hes bad with retinue(or should i risk it) or should i use my deamon prince so i can use a retinue?
remember tell me the tactics. i am alowed to use terrian at my will and custom my deamon with 125 points of upgrades....

You don't have many options when playing a Khorne berserker army and right here you face one of the toughest army in the CSM book. You have no choice but to charge in. If he get the chance to rapid fire in your squad once or twice he can make some serious damage in your rank before you get to him. If he play smart he will let you come to him and he will be able to place some shot in, if he gets in the 12" limit he will be able to fire 28 bolter shot... You will then get the bonus charge but at what cost? Don't underestimate the fire power of bolters.
Typhus is one hell of a close combat beast because of his manreaper therefore he will balance Kharn in that regard. Also be carefull of the betrayer side of kharn... Split up your squads, you will have to charge in anyway, so he will have to choose on who to fire and one of your squad should get in Hand to Hand combat unwounded. Just use covers as much as possible. Maybe you can use kharn as a decoy and make him run alone 6" away from your nearest squad, since he have only a squad maybe he will spend some fire power on him and since he have a really good save he might still make it.
Sorry but there's not many tactical options for a Khornate player, just charge in and pray to get get your armour saves and the charge bonus.
Keep us informed of the results, that's one hell of a combat I would like to know the result of.

To make your list legal, you'll have 2 split up into 2 squads of 8, since you must have 2 troop choices and 1 HQ choice. Same for your opponent (2 squads of 7, and his HQ).
Kharn isn't bad, but his lack of an invulnerable save often makes him undesireable. I think a prince with berserker glaive + a few other upgrades could just as easily be better (although you still won't be able to take a retinue).
Your points also look somewhat off for your opponent's army -- his marines would be a minimum of 266 with no special weapons, and 230 is the base cost of Typhus -- if he's bringing a retinue with him, that could easily be another 100 points or so. It says he can be accompanied by a retinue, but you still have to pay for it.
As far as tactics, like Thyr said, it's pretty much just move, move, charge. Place terrain so you'll be able to move behind it when you don't rage, and when you do rage, roll 6's!
If you haven't, make sure to give your berserkers khornate chain axes -- nurgles will be tough buggers to crack with their increased toughness, but you can compensate by reducing his save to a 4+. Either way, it'll be a close fight in assault either way -- your squads of 8 will get 24 attacks base or 32 attacks on the charge, while his squads of 7 will always be getting 14 attacks on the charge or assaulting due to true grit. He has better toughness, while you'll have a better save if you take chainaxes. Quite a fight -- let us know how it goes.
I WON by just charging in
i dont have to have two sqauds since we were jusy playing about
I play Nurgle and got massacred by a Khorne army recently. Bolters v. marines aren't as good as I would have expected.....
