Hi there, I am new to the game and still deciding what variant of Chaos to play. I like a flexible army with lots of options but quite like to soften up the enemy before going into hand to hand. The armies I have been playing against have been Eldar and IG. I have tried AL and Cu and like them both. If anyone has an opinion either way, advice or tactics to use against my opponents (Eldar with a seer council, and very shooty IG) I would love to hear it.
Cry Havoc and let slip the poodles of war
Alpha legion, in my experience of 40k, are rediculously overpowered.
The thought of having a hoarde army, all in power armour, and ALL infiltrating.
And the best thing is, they have very little restrictions at all, only the daemons.
My 1000 point alpha legion army is STILL yet to see a loss, and i have never lost more than 350 points of models, and never needed to go into the 4th turn, the games over by the 3rd.
