Before I even think of commenting...don't post stats.
Please read the forum rules.
I can hear the sound of a mod bomb coming
To comment on your prince he is really nice, in fact he will make the job done. Truly Khornate.
why dont you just go whole hog and drop the esscence and give him infiltrate as well?
this way he really would be able to get there in turn 1 doing the damage
now edit your post before someone else does it for you
WARMASTER of the SCHOLA PROGENIUM Alnwick Chapter (soon to be the world)
Units with the mark of Khorne cannot use the infiltration, and plus, if a unit has a mark of chaos, they cannot have more than one veteran ability
First, daemonic flight can't be combined with berserker glaive due to the special movement mode clause in the berserker glaive entry...
Essence could go to waste on him, depending on how you plan on using him. With the glaive always making him frenzy, chances are he could very well move ahead of the Khornate army, which would allow him to be shot at, even though he is an IC. Since he has the glaive, he won't be able to join any retinue, either, which could have otherwise protected him. That means a lascannon, railgun, etc could pick him off and put that upgrade (and all the others) to waste. And, I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think Feel No Pain works against instantkilling shots, so you would have only the 4+ invulnerable save to protect against that.
I'm not a big fan of the Collar, either -- psychic powers are used occasionally, but few and far between, considering most armies don't have any psykers.
Other than that, he looks fairly solid and a little different than the normal stature-type DPs. I just think he's pretty vulnerable to heavy weapons shooting. Once he gets into close combat, however, he should be beastly.
Thank you for your comment, but i am absolutely positive that i can have a winged DP with Beserker Glaive, i have asked like everyone there is, including every Games-Workshop staff, and they have all approved, and gave the A-Okay. The only problem is that, i dont really know any way to keep him alive too long. It's really hard, so that's why i am depending my luck ^_^
No offense, but everyone who has approved you doing that is ignoring the rules then. The berserker glaive specifically says no special movement modes. Earlier in the codex, it declares special movement modes as moving like a jetpack, bikes, etc. This has been discussed many times on this board -- I'm not really going to go into it. If people let you do it, that's fine -- but that would be more of a house rule than the official ruling.
i dont know what your talkin about, but as far as i can see from my chaos codex, it says "The bearer cannot then join another unit, be accompanied by followers, or ride a steed" There is nothing mentioned about no special movement except for a steed, and last time i checked, Daemonic Flight isnt a steed. Im not tryin 2 to rude here, but i am sure i can take the wings for my Lord
You may have an out of date Codex then. Towards the end of the glaive entry (seperate from the clause about joining a unit), it clearly states a model wielding the berserker glaive may not take any special movement modes. I'm not trying to be rude either, but I'm sure you can't take flight for your Lord.
