I play orks currently and plan on extending to Chaos. One thing I want to be able to do is Deep Strike. Are there any units that can?
Thats all I wanted. I plan on getting the dex but jsut wanted to know if some could.
Only thing i know is i didnt want normal SM yet i wanted something that can still shoot and assult.
It's okay to mention which units can deepstrike, it comes to when your posting specific imformation like stats, points or the exact word that are in the codex/rulebook.
As for units that can deep strike those are terminators, models with terminator armour and obliterators, you can have even more units to deep strike if you use a dreadclaw from FW
so for a loyal SM Termie squad, they can deep strike even if the mission doesn't allow it. Can the Chaos Termies do the same? I'm just wondering if this is a case of "SM codex got updated but Chaos didn't", or did they never intend to let Chaos Termies deep strike?
yes, chaos termies can deep strike, but the raptors can't. (buhu!!)
which is a pain in the a**, since my raptors always dies on their way forward. (i know, use size three terrain to prevent getting shot, but somehow it's not as easy as it sounds. must be something wrong with my gaming club)

daemon packs, however, have a form of deep striking which can always be used.
To be honest, if you want your entire army to deep strike, or to make it an integral part of your battle plan.. play loyalists (bah!) They can use (non forgeworld) rules for drop pods.
