I wanted to put the dark apostle of my word bearers/lost and the damned army on a bike. Would this be a good idea tacticaly?
Tactically theres nothing wrong with it either, just so long as theres enough ppl with him to protect him. He'd need something equally as fast to accompany him, as with a bike and an accursed crozius the points are gonna start mounting up. Not the best plan to be throwing him to the dogs so to speak. I have a lieutenant on a bike who rides around with my bike squad, not too many points but plenty of attacks and re-rolls (MC'd and spiky bitz) and he doesnt fare to badly, but expect him to get killed at some point. Just make sure he can kill as much as he's worth and you're set.
Just remember you can use turbo-boost for more than speed. ^_^
"If you can wait til I get home, then I swear we can make this last."
Like monsieurcartier said, giving him a bike is fine, just make sure he's got some boys with him so he doesn't get shot up. Give him a bike sqd, or if you want to go cheaper, a few hounds would sufice. Or you could go pts crazy and give him a retinue on dem. steeds etc... It's all up to you. Base the decision on how you play best and who your opponents are.
